FUN FEST IS FAST APPROACHING!

Hello Barrie Ringette Parents,
The end of the Ringette season is upon us, which means our end of season tournament and activity day, Funfest, is fast approaching.
When: March 24th from 1 pm - 6:30 pm
Where: Stroud Arena - 7883 Young St Innisfil.
Each House League team will participate in a mini tournament. There will also be off ice activities for the girls between games in the recreation room above the arena. Please see below for complete schedule.
At 3:35 we would like to take a group photo of all members of our association. This will require that all players are dressed and ice ready for 3:30 pm. All parent volunteers and coaches will be included in the photo, so make sure to wear your Barrie Ringette gear.
There will be light refreshments provided for the girls. We have asked that the arena open its concession stand for us on this day, if they are unable to, the association will provide pizza for sale at a small price.
We are looking for 2-3 parent volunteers from each house league team to help supervise some of the off ice activities (i.e. craft table - temporary tattoos) The stations will be set up prior to the activity, so all you have to do is monitor them. All volunteer times take place when your daughter’s team is not on the ice. If you are able to help out please email Katie Ethier kates06@hotmail.com.
Also, as a way to give back to our community, we ask that each family bring a non perishable food item for the food bank. This year our donations will be going to the Innisfil Food Bank. Let’s show how generous our Ringette community is!
This year, our very own Sherry Hill will have a booth set up where she will be selling ringette t-shirts, mugs and other great gifts, so make sure to check it out.
