The BDRA is powered entirely by volunteers — from our Board of Directors to our committee members, coaches, and event helpers. Without volunteers, our programs, teams, and special events simply wouldn’t be possible.

General Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for help with events, game-day support, and association functions. If you are a student seeking volunteer hours, we can help you find a role.

Regional Coaches & Assistant Coaches / Bench Staff FUN Staff

These recreational-level coaching roles dont necessarily require previous coaching experience, but it js very beneficial. Guided training is provided. It’s all about creating a fun, safe environment while players learn, play have fun and play the game. BDRA provides practice plans, drills, and games — you’ll be supported every step of the way.

Volunteer Screening

Per BDRA and Ringette Ontario policy, all volunteer board members, coaching staff, on-ice helpers, and volunteers working directly with minor players must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check on file.
