ANYONE INTERESTED IN COACHING?

No matter what level you are interested in (House League, Regional, Provincial) these courses are for you.

You ask WHY?

The material is great, and you will learn various coaching methods and strategies.
This can be used in any sport, not just ringette.
If you are chosen to coach within the BDRA Association your coaching training fees will be reimbursed.
You will meet other great people--people who are new to coaching and those who are veterans and want to teach you.
Ringette Ontario mandates coaches be certified at all levels.

You ask WHEN WILL THE BDRA BE LOOKING FOR COACHES FOR THE 2021-2022 SEASON?

The BDRA will begin the process within the next couple of months. No matter when this occurs, we encourage anyone who has an interest in coaching to begin the process as these courses do fill up fast.

You ask ARE THERE ANY BURSURIES OR SCHOLARSHIPS TO ASSIST WITH COVERING THE COSTS?

Yes. The Association requests that anyone taking the Competition Workshops to apply for the following:

Coaching Enhancement Funding Bursary Application - Workshop

*These Coaching Enhancement Funding bursaries are available for In-person, Online or home study NCCP workshops. This includes Competition Introduction workshops. Coaches must pay their own fee, fees paid in advance by the club, league, sport association, etc. are not eligible for coach bursary.*

Clinic 1:

June 12 at 9 AM - 2 PM
June 13 at 9 AM - 2 PM
June 19 at 9 AM - 2 PM
June 20 at 9 AM - 2 PM

Clinic 2:

July 10 at 9 AM - 2 PM
July 11 at 9 AM - 2 PM
July 13 at 5 PM - 10 PM
July 14 at 5 PM - 10 PM

Register at: www.coachingringette.ca. Please note CI Pre-Clinic Task must be complete prior to being able to register. Coaches must attend all sessions to receive credit for the course.

July 8 at 6 PM - 10 PM
